Kate Hanscom is the author of five children’s books, including Creative Christopher and Imagination to the Rescue. She works with budding young readers and writers in elementary schools, and loves nothing more than watching their creative juices flow. When not writing or reading, Kate is coaching youth basketball, holding impromptu dance parties in the kitchen, and desperately trying to perfect a recipe that makes cauliflower taste like buffalo chicken. Currently, Kate lives in Massachusetts with her husband, Chris, and three children: Allison, Jane and Matthew.

Favorite Food: pizza, chocolate, and frozen blueberries (But not all at the same time. Although maybe....?!?!)
I have never ever done a cartwheel in my entire life. Not one. Not even when I was a kid...in gymnastics class. (I know...so sad.)
Also, I prefer to wear flip-flops all year long!
